Q & A: Donate Your Wedding Dress

Reader Question: I got myself a "fancy schmancy" princess dress, which I love, love love, but I cannot justify putting it into a box and keeping it in storage for the rest of my life. Assuming that someday I'll have a daughter, and that said daughter will want to wear my dress seems ludicrous to me. I'd like to donate it, and I know there's a program in England that takes donated dresses, but I'm not sure of one in the U.S. Do you know of anywhere I can donate my dress? Any info would be greatly
