Old Maid

In the book on which one of my favorite movies, Gone With the Wind, is based, one of the characters, India Wilkes if you know who I’m talking about, was referred to as an old maid at the ancient age of 25. When I first read that, I was probably 15 and it made me laugh. I’m not quite 25 yet, but I’m not entirely convinced I won’t be an old maid. I’m not sure I want to get married. Just in general.
