I adore Halloween. Love getting to dress up in costumes. And people give you candy! What’s not to like? Although if I’m honest, which I am, I must admit that I’d far prefer salty treats to sweet ones. But a girl can’t have everything. This year, I’m off with friends to see the Chicago Symphony, who’ve got an excellent program planned: they’re playing the soundtrack to the 1935 film BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN followed by a screening of YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN.
