Back in 2007, after the pretrial hearing where Judge Fidler ruled that cameras would be allowed in the courtroom, I asked Allan Parachini if the general public would be allowed to observe jury selection. He replied something to the effect that it would not be open to the public. So, I did not try to attend. I later learned that the accredited press were allowed in after some seats opened up.
