Dear Friend and Reader: On the night of the Inaugural Ball to celebrate the 44th president of the United States, Michelle Obama arrived wearing a white, off-the-shoulder dress. Reminiscent of both Jackie Kennedy and Nancy Reagan, yet echoing a touch of her own style, Mrs. Obama performed the task of many a queen before her: she communicated to the people through fashion. A Weird Dream
Itâs super weird. I havenât been thinking of anything lately but this dream is superbly random. I found myself walking into a hotel which I have not been before. Then my friends started to greet me âCongratulations Grace. Howâs the preparation for your wedding tomorrow?â I was startled. In my heart, I was thinking âWhat wedding? Am I marrying? Who?â Then I headed straight to the ballroom to find the names on the backdrop saying âKevin Graceâ. My dream automatically fastforward to the

Bride Of Frankenstein
Doctor Frankenstein stood over his newest creation, the mate for his monster. He wanted to see if his original monster could reproduce. He knew that, as doctor Frankenstein, he could produce life out of nothing. But could he produce a viable life out of nothing. Looking at Igor, his trusted assistant, he yells. Igor, the power. Turn it on. Yes doctor. Igor grabs the switch and throws it. There is a clap of thunder and lightning strikes the lightning rod, bringing the power down the wires an

How to Decorate a Church for a Wedding
by Amy NuttDecorating a church for a wedding may not seem like such a difficult feat. However, there is some work involved. You donât want to find yourself in a situation where you use up all of the decorations you have to only find that you need more. That can result in a disaster, especially if you canât find anything that is the same color or the same thing that youâre out of. You need to make sure that you can go to the church and assess the sanctuary before you even order your decorations.

The Urge to Make Aggressive Statements at Any Possible Occasion
And now for something completely different!I am not really fit to have an opinion on fashion, let alone criticize the sartorial choices of others. My only advice would be: If you can't afford designer clothes, wear black. Luckily, black goes very well with my colours. When I buy shoes, I always buy expensive and classy ones to wear them for decades. I buy, too, good clothes and have forgone about 10 years ago to wear short skirts. I thought that it would be better if people regret that I do it

Inauguration: a glimpse of the first couple at a ball
Fulbright partner Teddy Adams, who was in Washington, D.C. for the inauguration, writes of last night: After a long but exciting day, it was time to clean up for the balls. I went to the Southern States Inaugural Ball, which was held at the National Guard Armory. After a relatively painless security screening, we emerged into a tented area that was the largest coat check space I had ever seen. There were about 20 separate stations. People dropped off their coats to reveal their ball finery. Eve

I'll Be Back
As you may have noticed, I've taken some time off. I can't really explain why. I think it was a sense of defeatism. My Conservative mentor, who has been very active in politics for many years, understood why I quit writing. He felt the same way after Nixon's resignation. There's been several things I've wanted to write about, but the what difference does it make thought kept popping into my head. I have barely read any political sites and tried to avoid the news as much as possible. It just m

Cover Vignettesâand a Grand Unveiling!
Writing a book is hard work. Itâs stressful for a whole wagonload of reasons. Itâs time-consuming and scary.  And it mayâ"or may notâ"be particularly profitable. Throughout the whole months-long process, we writers will bang our heads, chew our nails and agonize over every character, plot point and word choice until at last! We type âThe Endâ and send the whole thing to our editor. But itâs all worth it when we get our covers. Most of the time. Covers are the icing on the cake for us. Â

Not many people take a vacation to New York in January. Actually, itâs quite likely no one does. But my friend Bill was having a birthday, quite a significant one too, andâ¦umm, there were a bunch of good gigs coinciding with his birthday, so the trip was well worth any weather shortcomings. My flight from Seattle touched down at JFK right about the time one was making an emergency landing in the Hudson River. Oblivious to the events at hand, I deplaned and jumped in a cab to Brooklyn and Bi

Kate in Paris
It really isnât fair trying to compare a super mannequin to a celeb, even with a truckload of accessories, sheâs still a joy to look at. Must be the legs, the height or is it the walk? Although Kate Hudson didnât really look that bad in her own version of the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 dress with a huge bronze belt and black satin pumps, Iâm still rooting for the model. Fashionista She Ainât! - Updated
I didnât think Michelle Obama could come up with a dress that could top her Black Widow look on election night, but I was wrong. Her inaugural day dress gives ugly a new name. The color is atrocious and whatâs with those off color gloves, they neither matched her dress nor contrasted with it. And the fabric ... oy vey! Ronnie Wood and His Mail Order Teenage Hipster Bride of the Day

I have no idea why I bothered, because they arenât having sex and sheâs not naked and masturbating, or even slippinâ up nipple, or flashing panty. Cover up! - before the wedding dress is on
(vintage inspired robes: left, Anthropologie; right, Forever21) Brides are so busy on their wedding day, they often forget that theyâre the spotlight of the day. All cameras are pointed at you this day! Wearing something easy to take off before putting the wedding dress on is also key. I personally love how robes instantly translate to âGetting readyâ in a wedding album. Rather than buying a âbrideâ tank that you will have no use for it after your wedding day, a cute robe is something you ca

Project bridesmaid
I need to find a yellow dress to wear in an April wedding in Jamaica. This is great news, as I love yellow, and can pick out any dress I like. Now, I already have a nearly perfect vintage yellow dress from the 60s or 70s that I found at a thrift store a couple years ago. The problem is that it's a thick knit polyester that is absolutely sweltering to wear in any sort of heat...probably not the best choice for a Jamaican summer.Back to the drawing board, I found a couple potentially cute looki

Geez, I love Priscilla Dresses....
I've previously posted on how much I love Priscilla of Boston and the other day I was looking through Modern Bride and saw a dress that I just adored. It's at once elegant and Casual. It's actually the Madison dress from Vineyard by Melissa Sweet. The Funny part about The Madison is that it would look awful on me (I'm short waisted and belts aren't my friend) but I still just love it. That's why, ladies, you should bring an overly honest friend or mother with you when you go dress shopping.

I confess I went over. Iâm not worried about it because: The extra money I spent came out of my pocket money, rather than being put on a credit card or taken away from family needs. So the rumors of Bethanie Mattek's marriage to JPS Insurance President Justin Sands are true and you know what? Here are the pics to prove it! The marriage took place on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Edgewater Beach Resort in Naples, FL. Anne Hathaway is a National Board Beauty
Bride Wars actress Anne Hathaway stands out in a feather fringe dress by Chanel Haute Couture at the 2008 National Board of Review awards gala at Cipriani in New York City on Wednesday. The 26-year-old actress finished off her look with Chanel pumps and Bulgari jewels. Anne recently told People about her Golden Globes look, saying, âMy stylist amassed a few options, and this was the one I liked the best. Itâs corseted in the right places.â She also talked about her upcoming year, saying, âMy

âThatâs the standard critique. But I have another take on it. I think thereâs something significant behind womenâs anxious need to create the perfect wedding, the overzealous management of every facet of the event and the perilous fear that if things go wrong, âeverythingâ is ruined and the marriage is cursed. Itâs ambivalence, deep ambivalence. It is generally accepted that the night before a wedding, the groom will get cold feet and get chivvied along by his friends before descending into a st

Couple Weds at Taco Bell For Just $200
We didn't want to do things in the traditional sense, new groom Paul Brooks told the Associated Press in an interview right after his wedding last Friday. We're a little of an offbeat couple, so we wanted to have an offbeat ceremony. And, by offbeat he meant in an orange booth at the Taco Bell in Normal, Illinois surrounded by patrons in line for their usual burrito fix. No, we're not kidding about this one, girls. Paul and his now-bride Caragh Brooks got engaged on New Year's Eve

Natalie's Wedding
I wished I had a picture of how pretty my old roommate Natalie was tonight. She was absolutely gorgeous. Her dress was beautiful. And so was I. haha Okay.... I've said it before, and I WILL SAY IT AGAIN--DO NOT WEAR JEANS TO A WEDDING! I don't care if I offend anyone with this post. The bride is wearing a beautiful dress, the groomsmen are wearing tuxedos or suits, and YOU SHOW UP IN JEANS???? I think it's disrespectful to the occasion to show up in jeans. Even a teenage girl shouldn't show up i

I'm Waiting for my Arby's Dream Wedding
Paul and Caragh Brooks (above) already had the same last name - so they decided to get married in Normal, IL at the local Taco Bell. What the hell, right? The bride wore a $15 dress, and the entire wedding cost only about $200. The restaurant didn't even shut down to regular customers during the ceremony. Read the story HERE.I'm sorry, but when the Papi of my dreams asks me to GayMarry him, and we have our gorgeous and glamorous ceremony at the Arby's in Carlisle, Pennsylvania - the restaurant

everyday flowers.
I sell a lot of felt bouquets with button flowers mixed in, but you really don't need to order a full felt bouquet to get the same pretty effect every day at home. Of course this translates just fine to wedding bouquets, too. This little yellow nosegay would be so cute for a flower girl. Imagine this.... Summer farmhouse wedding, warm breeze, a big red weathered barn and a patchwork quilt of farmland, and a flower girl in bee wings blowing bubbles down the aisle. Or this one. The

Wedding Update!!
Yay, been sick for a couple of days. My Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is back and I think its worse than before. Not been able to go to work because of it. I first had it when I was in college and I just can't handle the extreme pain going around my lower back. Since I don't want to drink any medicine, I just took sometime to rest and take a lot of liquids, so I have a water therapy for the whole week. I can still feel the pain from time to time but I feel a lot better now. By the way, for those

Wedding Bells, I mean Taco Bells
Now that's what I'm talking about ... A simple wedding that cost under $200. At my wedding we had a little over 100 guests and I never sat still long enough to enjoy ... to really soak the day in ...I must have hugged a good 50 people that I have never seen in my whole life .... Who are they and who invited them ? Wedding bells meant Taco Bell for Paul and Caragh Brooks. Customers inside the fast-food restaurant continued to order tacos and burritos as the couple sat Friday in an orange booth

some things on my mind #5
Got some things, that I just feel like sharing, rambling, or ranting about. So here goes: 1. First things first. Much obliged to Revvy Rev and Regina for passing on the Emblem of the Helping Hand to me. I am deeply humbled with receiving it; but I am even more humbled that in receiving the Emblem that you have passed it on to some amazing bloggers (with the exception of one - ::smile::). wrong answers and right questions
Thank you for your congratulations on our decision to get married. We have been together for seventeen years but I don't think that makes it any less of a good idea. I am greatly looking forward to doing the deed, and hopefully we can organise it in such a way that avoids most of the expensiveness and all the ghastliness associated with the kind of wedding you read about in the newspaper (or at least, the kind of wedding I have recently taken to reading about in the newspaper.) It does appear

Golden Globe Nail Watch - Red Vampy Ladies
Happy Friday kids! One more Golden Globe wrap up then I'm done, swear. If it wasn't my favorite award show of the year, I wouldn't be so gaga. Of course the Grammy's are coming up and you KNOW there will be at least a few crazy nail looks on that red carpet. Can't WAIT! Anywho, the biggest nail trends of the night were red and vampy shades. Dark nails just won't go away, not that I'm complaining, and classic reds are huge right now. Can you guess who rocked the looks above? Find out after the

Earlier this month, I had the fantastic opportunity to photograph the gorgeous couple Melissa and David on their very special day. It was a perfect day, lovely weather and everything went well without a problem in sight! The bridal party consisted of Melissa's 4 lovely children, who I must say, all looked amazing and did so well on the day! They truly are a beautiful family, and I was so glad to be a part of their day. Melissa and David, I hope you like these sneaky peaks from your day, I w

Unusual Wedding Dresses With LED Lighting
A Wedding is a special day, a day when the blushing bride is ever so beautiful and elegant. A lot of effort goes into planning for a wedding and the wedding gown gets a lot of attention. The bride to be has so many choices for a wedding gown that the selection can be a bit daunting. Having a traditional formal wedding may mean you will focus on a lace white wedding dress or perhaps youâre going to have your wedding outdoors, which means looking for a summer wedding dress. The Bridesmaids
Last week I wrote about the overview of the day, how we hope it will pan out. We now move on to filling in some of the details in more depth. As the wedding is still over 4 months away, some of the details are still in progress but I will start with the things which are pretty much sorted. So, the bridesmaids. I said last week that I have chosen to have three adult bridesmaids: my two younger sisters and my older sister-in-law-to-be. I usually refer to them as A1, A2 and T on my blog but I had

How to Choose a Wedding Florist
by Jenny Gould 1. They can be done in advance. Although real flowers are very beautiful and breathtaking, they must be done right before the wedding in order to not wilt. If you are a bride on a budget and taking this task on yourself, you may find yourself overwhelmed and stressed during a time that should be fun and relaxing. With silk arrangements, you can arrange them ahead of time, which can reduce the stress of the last few days leading up to your wedding. On the day of your wedding, they

The three bridal lingerie essentials: a good bra, a good corset, and a great wedding night set
Itâs easy to colour something ivory and declare it âbridal,â but Iâve learned in the past few weeks that picking bridal lingerie isnât just a case of choosing something pretty in the right colours. All brides will have different needs based on their dress styles, bra size and countless other variables, but from what Iâve learned, there are a few things a bride will almost always need to count on: A good bra - Rigby Pellerâs âDragonflyâ For brides walking down the aisle in a dress with stra

Being a bride gives you the perfect excuse for getting yourself a pretty little bag - you donât need to carry that much with you on the big day, and chances are, whatever you do want to have with you, someone else will end up carrying anyway. Kate Hudson Went Green
Some would argue that âBride Warsâ actress Kate Hudson looked fab when she showed up for the âLate Showâ last night. I beg to disagree. Yes, the body-hugging dress showed of her curves and no one will now say her Harperâs Bazaar photos were photoshopped. And yes, the backless number made her sexier. The big âbutâ, however, is the material and colors of her dress. She looks like an emissary of Emerald City. Definitely not the usual Kate Hudson attire. Rating 1 [Source]

The Great Kate Hudson âGreen Dress on Lettermanâ Debate of 09!

The dress Kate Hudson wore on the Late Show with David Letterman. People care less about why she was there, the movie she was promoting (Bride Wars with Anne Hathaway), or anything else. They care about the dress. This is one of those times where youâll either love or hate something. So, prepare yourself⦠I think she rocked this loo

Ghost Story
Since a couple people asked what the new novel's about, here's how I think of it. It's a ghost story. It's also a dysfunctional family story. What I'm trying to work in are these ideas, that I got as I thought about how and why a ghost might haunt someone: -- It doesn't make much sense to me that someone who lived hundreds of years ago and has no connection to me would want to hurt, help, or communicate with me. Why? What would we even have in common? What would be the connection or reason? Just

The dress reminds me of those Halloween costumes where people go as a half-bride and half-groom. But I'm not hating. She's lovely. I do get sort of down when I see pictures of all the glamorous and beautiful people. Sometimes I

Anne Hathawayâs Parents Embarassed Her With Sex Talk
Anne Hathaway is just like the rest of us, she cringes when the word âsexâ comes up, in reference to her parents. Parents + Sex Talk = Gross. Anne Hathaway would probably love to just forget that she heard her parents talking about the great sex they have, so much that she was left embarrassed by their comments. At the premiere of Anneâs new movie, âBride Warsâ, her parents Jerry and Kate Hathaway told Cindy Adams of the New York Post all about their great sex. When Anne found out abou

Thanks for your nice comments on my new dress and shoes!!!We had such a blast at the wedding - it was a really beautiful day, and the Boy and I were both honoured to be there to share it with the lovely bride and groom. Both ceremony and reception were held in the gorgeous gardens of the bride's parents, and the girls all did their own hair and make-up, and the bride's dress, as well as the bridesmaids' skirts, were all sewn by the bride's grandmother (who is well into her 80s)I'm not sure if you

Why Itâs Worth Hiring A Wedding Consultant

Find Your Couture Wedding Gown
With the end of the holiday season and the unofficial engagement season, I know many bride-to-bes are on the hunt for the perfect wedding gown. For lots of ladies, the perfect wedding gown may be a couture, designer gown. It may seem counterintuitive during these poor economic times to spend wads of cash on a dress you're only going to wear a few times, at best; however, you want to make sure you are totally happy with your final choice. If you've always dreamed of a high-end, luxury gown and

Snazzy Socialite Style at Bluefly.com
Filming a TV show on location, whether it be New York City, Hawaii, or Los Angeles, youâre going to get photographed sooner rather then later. Thatâs what happened to Leighton Meester and a few other members of the Gossip Girl crew earlier this week. While I was looking over the pictures, I thought about what the girls were wearing, âsuper cute!â This all came back around to the Latest Luxe when I thought about going to Bluefly.com more then once a week considering it is an accomplishment. An overview of the day
First of all, hope everyone had a great holiday break and Happy 2009. I am very excited to be in 2009 and there is now only 5 months to go until our wedding day. I have talked about the process of choosing our ceremony and reception venues but before I go into more details about decoration, diy projects or my dress, perhaps you might be interested in what will actually happen on the day including English customs and traditions and who is in our wedding party. Then, in the coming weeks I will f

Hot Celebrity Wedding Trends for 2009: Your Non-Matching Bridal Party
There are bridezillas out there who would throw a fit if one of their bridesmaids dared to show up at their wedding with even a hair out of place, but if youâre a modern bride looking to achieve an elegant effect, you might want to ditch the notion that your bridal party should be smiling clones. While Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were the first celebrities to buck the trend when they stood up for their assistant in non-matching attire, first daughter, Jenna Bush took it a step further l

Hawaii: Part 4
For our last photoshoot at the Mike Colon workshop in Maui, Hawaii, Rosanna Jared dressed up and played bride and groom for us. Their real wedding is in April, but this gave them a nice dress rehearsal! A wedding day can often be so rushed, so it's fun to do these kind of session post-wedding to really get to take the time to get some great shots in your dress and tux all over again! For those who are married, it's never too late to pull your dress back out and do this kind of session! Sho

The Conundrum and The Knitting Bride
So it was a decision made of agony. The biggest lesson learned is not to knit under the influence of supah-drugs. Not worth it! :) While I chipped away during my back pain on my sweater, a row here a row there, apparently I didn't look at it in progress. Or saw it through glazed eyes of madness. Or something. Because Sunday, lo and behold there it was............rows back, the simple cables had reversed direction. The cables look great below, as well as above. But there in the past was the cable

Kate Hudson- Worst Dressed At Peopleâs Choice Awards
It pains me to say this, because I HEART Kate Hudson and I also HEART Gucci but they both looked really â¦..wellâ¦not good at the 2009 Peopleâs Choice Awards Wednesday night. Kateâs asymmetrical teal Gucci gown was doing her no favors and her near drunken behavior had her in some unflattering poses. After months and months of overthinking my wedding day ensemble, it was finally time to put it on! All of those moments trudging through slush to try on dresses after work, the hours spent on etsy looking for rock star jewelery that wouldn't break the bank, the sneaking out to shoewebsites at any free moment to look for the perfect shoes - it was all coming to fruition. Rush Hour Wedding Planning -- Veils?
Well, as you area residents know, traffic downtown has become a nightmare. With the Obamas in town and the inauguration right around the corner, I am currently stuck on a bus in traffic. Slowly making my way from my office in NW DC to our apartment in SE, Capitol Hill. With so much time to kill (and with it being 2009, the year we get married!) My thoughts drifted to the wedding. More specifically the question of to veil or not to veil. I am not a short girl. Not even close. I will be buyi

Reverse Secret
The universe is quite lovely about so many things. Star-gazer lilies that bloom for days, Chanel perfume, or toddlers, to name just a few examples. The rest of the time I think the universe is trying to teach me a lesson. It's like a reverse Secret: instead me reaching out to the universe for what I want or need, the universe prefers to tell me what I want or need, and that if I know what's good for me, I'll like it.Like when I posted a couple weeks ago about how I dislike The Olive Garden.

Letterman Grills Kate Hudson About Anne Hathaway's Ex-Boyfriend
First off: yes, Kate Hudson acted weird on Letterman last night. She was just very...much...like...a much older crazy lady. With a weird green dress. She kind of reminded me of Augusten Burroughs' mother in Running With Scissors. But that aside, her interview was extremely boring (skiing, sports, yawn) until she started to talk about her new movie, Bride Wars, which has been riddled by rumors for ages that Hudson and her co-star Anne Hathaway didn't get along. SURELY David Letterman knew this,

After watching Kate Hudson promoting her new movie âBride Warsâ on David Letterman, her green eyeshadow, her green earrings, her green dress from the Pucci spring line was interesting to say the least. One of the first questions people ask when they talk about weddings is âwhat did the bride wear?â Yes, finding the right man is the hardest step, but finding the right wedding gown among a see of worthy wedding dresses is a close second. â I donât think that the decision not to get married is a radical one. It makes sense that anarchists would participate in as few contracts with the State as possible. For women, we know that the idea of marriage began as a contract between a man and the state that he owned his wife. This tradition continues today when a man gives a woman a ring when proposing engagement (he buys her commitment) and when the father âgives awayâ his daughter at the marriage ceremony, and (less common) when the po

My favorite part of the wedding was at the very end. All of the guests were second line-ing out of the reception, all very drunk and waving their handkerchiefs in time with the jazz quartet. The bride and groom were at the front, and the line curled its way down the steps and through the arcade (shut up_not that kind) and i was wheeling Sarahâs suitcase and purse through the crowd, shoutin comin through! comin through! At this point I was basically a celebrity, which is such a funny thing about

A Bride In A Blue Dress
My initial plan for getting married in Vegas didnât include a special dress. I wanted everything to be spontaneous and I didnât want to be distracted by all of the specifics of dress hunting. At the last minute I purchased this blue dress from Express to take along for my nuptials. I figured if Iâm going to have this delightfully tacky wedding in Vegas I might as well live it up. How do you like my dress? Subscribe to Your Style Star by Email

JenJen's Wedding on 29-Dec-08 - Church
29th of December 2008 marks the most memorable day for JenJen as it was her wedding day! Hahaha... The day begins at 7.00 am where her makeup artist came and trying to change her into the most beautiful women on that day. Hehehe..I reached her house at around 7.30 am. Her house is quite easy to find. During the make up time, she didn't look nervous. Hhmmm, I guess tiredness overcome everything. Hahaha...Something funny on that morning is that, JenJen realize that she had lost some weight and her

Laura + Ross
Newport Beach, CA: Laura + Ross got married in a small and intimate civil ceremony in South Africa but decided to come back to Southern California to celebrate with their friends and families (We wouldâve loved to shoot their wedding in South Africa too, to be honest :P).   Laura is a friend from church way back when and it was fun to meet familiar faces again in a different setting. The wedding has a little touch of South Africa (candies, photos, and their beloved dog, Ruby as their flowe

A Bluegrass Wedding
The bride was beautiful and the the groom was handsome. They sang some of their vows.  The Circuit Riders backed them up as the house band. The closing tribute to the bride was an old Charlie Waller number, âRemembrances of You,â a favorite of mine. They did it perfect pitch three part harmony.        The ceremony was reverent and respectful of tradition. The congregation and the bridal party recited the Lordâs Prayer in unison. The music was acoustic, but not all bluegrass. Fiddle toggl

2008 in Review: Seiyuu
Uh, happy new year! I was too busy consuming mango pudding whilst watching Kohaku Uta Gassen on TV to put this up on time⦠There really werenât any big stories in the seiyuu world this year, unlike the whole ARTSVISION scandal thingy in 2007. Which is a good thing I suppose⦠but that leaves only minor things like: Wedding Bells Those whose marriage status became clear in 2008: ã»Kaida Yukoâs marriage to a theatre actor was made known by a tourism blog. ã»Wakabayashi Naomi revealed 2007 m

Recycling for H-ween
Trying to explain the use of golf club covers to my mom was an entertaining exercise: she thought it was a gloveâ¦for your hand, or that you used it to cover the handle before gripping, a la potholdersâ¦heh! My sister asked for some for her 1, 3, 4, and 5 clubs (whatever they do) and since Xmas is coming⦠On the bright side, it took me only a day to whip this up (i.e., subway time + after dinner) using some of the purple wool yarn I bought in Shanghai 2 years ago, with some of the lavender Valuru

A year of promises to myself.
Iâm going to alter my first âo the months post a bit for this year beginning with todayâs because, after all, itâs a fresh, new start. You have never met a girl who loves new years, months, weeks, etc. more than me! Iâm the girl who makes resolutions and actually keeps some of them! Of course there have been others, such as the one where I vowed to never eat another Oreo as long as I shall live, that didnât exactly work out. You win some, you lose some. In an effort do a better job with th

A December wedding! OK!'s associate features editor Joanna Tuazon recently wed T3's deputy managing editor Elijah Mendoza. LOVE/HATE: The Blankie Edition
On truly cold mornings, when itâs frosty outside and I am forced by necessity to leave the toasty warm confines of my blissful bedclothes, a nightgown is not always enough. In my sleep-addled state, I will often attempt to wrap myself up in a blanket before making my way to the espresso machine. Oftentimes, I end up looking rather like this: Needless to say, I am not liking this wedding dress. While I canât proclaim that I hate, hate, hate it â" honestly, it does not deserve that level of emo

The Importance of Your Winter Wedding Bouquets
A wedding day, especially for the bride is a day which they have been dreaming of for a long time, sometimes since childhood. Although many people think of beautiful spring days and blossoms for a wedding, it is worth remembering the beauty of a winter wedding. Is there actually anything more striking than vibrant colours against a perfect snowy day? A white, snowy winters day is like being given a white canvas on which to mark your perfect picture. There is not more striking a contrast tha

Geeky Marriage Proposal: A Match Made in Halo
By Casey Lynn Contributing Writer, [GAS] Considering that many people spend almost as much time playing games like Halo and World of Warcraft as they do at work, love matches made in-game are only going to get more common.
